About the mulling methodology

Discuss a particularly knotty problem with colleagues. When the issues expand, brains start to ache and the focus is lost, take a break with the promise to 'mull it over'.

Work on something totally different.

Nine-times-out-of-ten within a week either the original problem has gone away or a solution has presented itself via another route.

Honest.
